Michael DeAngelo is a Philadelphia-based fantasy author and co-host of Avatar State Radio. Known for his work in young adult and new adult fantasy, Michael is the creator of the Tellest universe, a sprawling fantasy brand that brings together heroes from all corners of his imagination. His love of world-building and storytelling, fueled by classics like The Thousand Orcs by R.A. Salvatore and games such as Baldur’s Gate and Final Fantasy, makes him the perfect guide for diving into the rich universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

When he’s not co-hosting the podcast or writing, Michael collaborates with his wife, Rhianna DeAngelo, on various creative projects, including their co-authored children’s book, How to Be a Wizard. They share their home with their beloved pets, affectionately known as the “Tails of Tellest.”

Kevin M. Gallagher, Jr. is a podcast host, producer, and Philadelphia-based content creator, co-hosting Avatar State Radio. With over a decade of experience in podcasting, Kev has created and hosted multiple shows that showcase his passion for pop culture, storytelling, and entertainment. Though Avatar: The Last Airbender is new to him, his fresh perspective and sense of humor provide the perfect balance to his co-host, Mike DeAngelo’s deep knowledge of the series.
